Paula Corell Gascó

Founder & Director

Paula Corell is a Founder and Director of Arcvelop, and an internationally trained architect and interior designer who leads the creative vision of the practice. With a background spanning London and Valencia, Paula has built extensive experience delivering high-end residential architecture and interiors that carefully balance contemporary design with the character and integrity of historic and traditional buildings.

Trained at Foster + Partners, Paula has worked on large-scale residential developments for major global developers across the Middle East and Asia, contributing to projects with values ranging from £100m to £200m GDV. Her experience across both architecture and interiors enables a highly integrated design approach, where spatial planning, materiality and detailing are considered holistically from concept through to delivery.

At Arcvelop, Paula sets the creative direction across the studio, shaping the architectural language, interiors strategy and overall design ethos of the brand. Coming from a family of artists, she brings a natural sensitivity to proportion, texture and craftsmanship, with a meticulous attention to detail that underpins Arcvelop’s design-led approach to development and its reputation for refined, timeless buildings.

Alastair Cross

Design Director

Alastair is the Design Director at Arcvelop, and an internationally trained and practising architect with experience spanning design-led architectural and development projects across London and New York City. Since qualifying as an architect from the University of Westminster, he has consistently championed a collaborative, design-first approach that brings together architecture, development strategy and commercial viability.

Alastair brings strong expertise in leading residential-led schemes, with a particular focus on value-adding design, spatial quality and delivery-focused architecture. In previous roles, he acted as UK market lead for architecture, overseeing teams and guiding projects from early concept through to planning and delivery.

At Arcvelop, Alastair plays a key role in shaping design-led developments, contributing strategic oversight at early feasibility and concept stages where design quality has the greatest impact. He notably led the early design stages of a 74-unit residential scheme in London that was formally commended by the local authority for its architectural quality and high standard of internal accommodation. His commitment to thoughtful, detail-driven design was further recognised through his role as a judge at the International Architecture and Design Award 2022, reinforcing Arcvelop’s commitment to design excellence at every scale.

marc turnier

Founder & Director

Marc Turnier is the Founder and Director of Arcvelop, and a UK-qualified architect-developer with over 15 years’ experience delivering design-led residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. Trained at Foster + Partners, Marc’s early career combined high-end architectural design with a growing focus on development strategy, commercial viability and project delivery.

Prior to establishing Arcvelop, Marc worked with a number of private family offices and development clients, designing and delivering small- to medium-scale schemes across a range of asset classes. This experience gave him a comprehensive understanding of the full development lifecycle, from site acquisition and feasibility through planning, funding, construction and exit.

At Arcvelop, Marc leads the practice’s architect-developer model, placing design at the centre of value creation rather than treating it as a cost. He has designed and delivered schemes ranging from £1m to £100m+ GDV, often within complex planning and heritage-led contexts. His integrated approach—combining architectural quality, rigorous financial discipline and hands-on development leadership—underpins Arcvelop’s award-winning work and its reputation for delivering commercially robust, design-led projects through joint ventures, direct investment and long-term partnerships.
